Yes, as Sourland said, it is a great ratio. However, some hens are likely to be rejected by the cockbird and a couple will be his favorites and he may over mate them. This is to be expected. Interesting also is the fact that hens have the apparent ability to reject the mating of a cockbird they dislike and will not become fertile.
