I went to The Georgia Mad Hatcher and picked up my eight new born Gold Sex Links (Golden Buff) Friday. I ordered them two weeks ago. I enjoy watching them scratch and chase each other around their spacious brooder box that I built for them. I threw in a meal worm just to see what they would do. It was hilarious to watch them compete for it until they started getting violent. I took it away when they started dragging each other by a wing.

Chickens are great entertainment. Even the little chicks have no mercy when it comes to getting the meal worm!

I had no idea meal worms set off chicks too, or that chicks could get so aggro! Just another reason to build my own brooder and get some fertilised eggs I guess. It will be a great substitute for tv.
