coffee filters

Has anyone every used the 4c. coffee filters to put each egg in prior to lock down to keep the mess contained a bit? I was thinking about trying that, but not sure if it would work ok or not, lol.

use a carton with the bottom cut off, it will help, the filters will not allow the chick to come out of the egg

I use the coffee filters. It helps with the mess and to retain humidity during a hatch.
