Hah Yep that is what has happened, I knew from the pics that they were looking more towards EEs, and thats what they are espcially if the father was a pure Ameraucana. If you dont want them though I wish there was a BYC member close to you that would take them and post pics of them as they grow, I'd like to see what that cross looks like as adults, it should be pretty cool I think.

But I hate that you didnt get what you paid for. Is the seller going to refund you or resend you a free batch of the Pure Cochin cross when the he knows the cochins fertile by a pure cochin roo ? He should agree to do one or the other or I would leave some negative feedback for him on his ebay sellers page.

Anyway I hope you can a good home for the chicks if you decide not to keep them and that you can get what you wanted to begin with soon and that it all works out for you.

well, again, clint, thanks for your help. i did post the pics to the breeder, and no response. and with ebay, you know, you do take your chances and i did. and yes they are neat looking birds but a bit jumpy and from what i understand with ee's it's a crap shoot as far as temperament is concerned.so for me, it's back to square one. but just wanted to say, thanks a bunch for your time and kind words. mary.
