Cold Affecting Hatch Rate

Would leaving eggs out in the -temps for 1 night affect the hatchability of the eggs?
As in, would a freezing cold egg hatch?

One night? I’d try it. But I’d probably try stones in the incubator if someone told me that’s where Cornish rock chickens come from.

I’d also be tempted to try it. And same... I can almost never tell when someone is joking. I guess I grew up with the “jokes are supposed to be funny” mindset. Oops.

Ok seriously though— we don’t get any of that frozen rain stuff or sub-zero temperatures here, so I have no personal experience with hatching after sustained chilling like you describe.

Yes, it would effect them, freezing will compromise/'kill' the egg.

I will go and choose some reasonable looking rocks tommorow.
Im hoping the temps will drop by the time I'm ready to incubate
