Do chickens shiver when they get cold? I was out checking on my "babies" and one of my frizzled cochins (9 weeks) seemed to be shivering when I held her. We are having a 20 degree temp change from last week so maybe she just needs to acclimate. She is running around fine and I didn't check to see if the other chickens acted cold. It is about 55-60 degrees out here. Last week was in the 70's and 80's.

I've never seen mine shiver - when they got cold as babies they piled up on each other or spread out under the heat lamp.
