Hi everyone! Lately the weather has been so cold that when I collect the eggs and leave them out on my counter for a bit they begin to sweat. Should I be refrigerating them right away to prevent them from sweating and possibly pulling bacteria into the shell? Or will the bloom prevent them from spoiling?

Thanks for your help!

I don't clean them until they are ready to be eaten.

When I collect eggs I put them in the sink and run hot water over them for a minute or two then clean and dry them off with paper towels and after that I put them in the egg carton and into the fridge. They don't sweat when I do that.

Ok, I think I'll start doing the same as you. Thanks!
