Cold Eggs

first my temp spikes. now had power cut last knight dont know when but eggs were cold this mornin i will finish this hatch but i really dont think any will hatch

well it was my first atempt. will learn from this and try again.
has anyone else had any desasters and still have eggs hatch evan if its just one?

You need to figure out what is allowing it to spike. I once lost power & the eggs were down to 50 for several hours but still had a hatch.

Lots of stories of temp. spikes, power failures and broody hens who have left the eggs for many hours and still chicks have hatched, so don't assume all is lost (But DO get your incubator fixed!)

thanks that gives me a little more hope. its amazing how quickly ive gotten hooked to this.
I would like to hear more stories of disasters and how many survived.

keep hand warmers handy and if you have a power outage they will keep the incubator warm til power comes back on. They usually last for 12 hours or more.
