Cold hardy

I recently got 4 barred cochin bantam chicks.( 2 weeks old now) When I first ordered them I read they were cold hardy but now that I have them the more I read it says they can not tolerate the cold ? I live in New York State . Any advice helpful and appreciated. Thank you so much

Their massive feathering may help them keep warm during cold weather, but it can quickly get wet. They are also more prone to frostbite due to the feathers on their feet.
