Cold or Illness? Pls Advise.

We have a Buff Orpington not quite a year old. She has been fluffed up for a few weeks now and I thought it was the change in weather, but today I noticed a bald spot on her head. Could it be fleas? She does seems a bit more skittish but it is not unusual when the other chickens peck at her because she is smaller.
Any suggestions on what I should look for?

Check for lice and mites. It could be from others pecking her since she is at the bottom of the pecking order.
