I ordered chicks through Cackle Hatchery using the City/Town Female Special (x2) for 6 chicks. The breeds I ordered that I ordered were 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Barred Rock, and 1 Black Australorp.

I ended up with 2 extra chicks (not complaining at all 😅). Does anyone have an idea what they might be? They’re currently sleeping, but I’ll try to get solo photos later for my records and update the post when I can.

I do have one little brown chick that seems pretty lethargic. As soon as I noticed it, I placed them under the heat plate and dipped their beak in electrolyte water once they were able to hold themselves up. I’m hoping he’ll bounce back. If anyone has tips or suggestions, please let me know.

I’m also moving them into a larger brooder because of the extra chicks. The space they’re in now is just temporary and feels a bit too small with the additional birds.

Your little blue/grays are most likely the extras based on the breeds you listed as having ordered ( though potentially it could be the brown Chipmunks).... can you take a couple of better / close up shots of just them? Being able to see their faces, to determine whether they are bearded or clean, their comb buds to see what type of cone they are going to have and their legs to see not only color but also whether they are clean or feathered is key and helping to start sorting through breeds

The hatchery will tell you if you contact them.

3rd chick is the Australorp and 4th is a barred rock. Buff orps are second and last chicks. First looks like a Easter Egger to me with the beard/muffs. I hope he does ok, good luck lil' bro! The fifth picture looks kind of like a Silver Laced Wyandotte to me? Sixth is adorable 🥰 probably an Easter Egger? Seventh is probably whatever 6 is (easter egger?)
