cold temps and 5 month old chickens?

I know it will be a tough decision. What would happen to the chickens if you guys don't take them??? Is it possible for the people who have them now to hang on to them at least until February? Odds are, they would survive the change, you would just need to keep a really close eye on them for signs of distress... Good luck!

The person can't afford to keep them. If we don't take them they will look for someone else and hopefully find them a good home.

If you want them, could you supply food for the chickens and ask them to keep them for you untill the weather warms up some?
