The breaker tripped last night in my garage. It turned off all the lights in the brooder.

When I checked them this morning it was 60 degrees in the brooder.

The birds are 2.5 weeks old & mostly feathered. They were huddled together & didn't seem to be OK - but one silkie was standing in the water alone.

I put in a small heater in there to warm them up quick. Hope they all make it.

I'm most worried about the silkie who was alone standing in the water. She seemed to warm up quick & start moving around, but being cold & wet is not good.

My wife just checked on the birds. All are well. She turned off the heater to prevent it from getting too hot in the brooder.

Thank goodness there are OK.

I disconnected the air compressor this morning - it kicked on in the middle of the night & blew the breaker. NOT AGAIN.

These are turning out to be a pretty tuff bunch of birds.
