This morning I held my chicken and she put her wattles on my arm. It immediately felt like an ice pack and she want to keep her cold wattles on me. She hasn't laid today yet but has been laying constantly since she started. She is about 26 weeks old and she is a Plymouth barred rock. She started laying at 19 weeks. It 15°C outside and they don't seem cold. I compared her wattles to one of my other chickens. Her wattles we're pail and cold and my other chickens Wattles were red and warm. I will not be responding right away I am going somewhere be will reply soon.

Im not to sure, this sounds like a few things, firstly, try rubbing something on the waddle. To make sure it doesnt crack and freeze off (like coconut oil or vaseline) try making sure shes okay And not ill, does she have other symptoms? What breed is she? (i ask this because im curious if shes heat tolerent)

I think we are good now, I am pretty sure she was just getting ready to lay.

i dont think a cold wattle would be her wanting to lay (+ she was already laying) but i could be wrong. Im not sure, it just sounds a bit concerning
She has been acting normal and she is warmer now but I will definitely watch her. Thank you.
