Cold weather coming

I have cold weather coming this week end, (well I guess we all do.) I am opening feed bags and stapling them to the walls of my coop. I also bought heated water bowls. I think the coldest day will be -1 in my area, not as cold as -21 the last snap. I have lights on for seeing not heating. I probably will not heat. Next few days will be mid to upper 30's though.

That's a warm winter day here in Wisconsin.

Hopefully all your birds do fine through it. I know it can be an adjustment for those not acclimated to the colder temperatures.

And I'm worried about 23°! I need to move my 10 week old into the coop soon, waiting for it to get a bit bigger, tried letting it in the run with the 18 week olds but not well received (still unsure if roo or hen). Got to see some fancy footwork by one of the hens tho, crazy side step action! Had me laughing so hard I scared them!
