Cold Weather

[new to chickens 1980]

Is one chicken ok to winter alone in a coop? We have a heat lamp, but lately its been pretty darn cold! ( Canadian, eh!) Any advice?

I think she'd be fine as far as warm enough. But, honestly...just one? They need friends, they are very social animals. She must be lonely

I'd add one or two for her.

Where are ya from new to chickens 1980? Our climate really does vary from province to province and region to region.
