Cold wet chickens! Need help

we’ve been having heavy rains today with high winds.

Just went outside when I heard an unusual ruckus in the chickenyard.
Coop has hinged drop door and they all can get in and out.

Several of my roosters are soaked to the bone. ALL are very wet.
I’ve been looking out into their yard during the rain and all were in the coop, including the goose.

I have a chicken tractor on high wheels. Sides are throughly barricaded against wind and remain intact.

The only thing I can figure is that the winds have been driving the rain into the coop by lifting the edges of the corrugated PVC roofing.

At this point I have re-inspected the wind barriers and battened down a tarp on the roof.

WHAT DO I DO ABOUT 15 wet chickens!!! While usually not a
problem the temps are going to freezing tonight, and the winds will continue through the early evening and some snow is expected tomorrow.

Bring them inside and towel them dry, then use a blow dryer set on warm to dry them off. Good luck with your wet chickens.

I don’t own a hair dryer and I have no neighbors

But I’ll see what I can do.

Then the next best thing would be to just towel dry them and then lock them back in the coop so that they are protected from drafts.

Just me in the mud.
Caught 3 roosters and dried them off a bit. None were wet to the skin.
The 2 that are I’m not able to catch
Trying to get them to go to bed early to get out of the wind.

Here is my advice. Bring them inside, towel them a bit, and let them sit a bit to get warmed up. Here's a question:
1. Do you have a coop, that's not a chicken tractor?
I highly suggest NOT wintering chickens in a chicken tractor. Unless it is shielded from all sides, and you have thick hay on the ground, so that their feet aren't on the frozen ground. If it is raining, I would shut them inside. Also, I would put a heavy tarp over the top of the outside part of the coop. But, a chicken tractor is a chicken tractor, so it's going to be cold. You might pull it into a shed, or something, to shield it from the wind.

if you have an open air dog kennel bring them in and turn the oven on in the kitchen set the kennel near but not close to the oven and have it open, the radiating heat will warm them up.

Everyone including a hen who managed to get under where I couldn’t get her, but after harassing her for a bit she emerged and went to bed.

l would say leave them be. They will be fine... But definitely fix their shelter so that doesn't happen again.

Yikes you have a lot of males! Are they in a separate tractor?
