collecting eggs

Store them blunt end up in an egg tray or box in a cool place . Around 10 degrees celsius. Before putting into incubator or under hen let them sit a troom temp for 1 hour to avoid condensation and sweating of eggs.
Another way to store eggs is on their side and evry chance you get turn them 180 degress however alternate direction of turning each time.

ok, thanks. For years i had refridgerated them then a few years ago my cousin said they shouldnt go in the fridge.

It depends what temperature your fridge is at. If it is around 5 degrees celsius it probably would work however a cool place around 10 degrees is how I have always done it and it works for me.

Do you know anything about eggs that may have sat outside for several days? I have free range chickens who have taken to laying in a secluded area and convering them with leaves? Should I just throw them away?
