When you get the hen and chicks you will need secure housing for them. Food and water. A safe area for them to roam.

A book called Keeping Chickens was helpful to me. Another tip is to just look at all the questions people ask on here and then look at the answers or ask some questions of your own. One thing, chickens always need fresh water.

theres plenty of good info on this sight to get you started. we used it & our chicken are alive & healthy. Plus there is a whole lot of knowledgable people on this sight willing to help also.
