Collecting now predict my breed crosses appearance and suggestions

Began collecting today. Roo is Slw. Hens are speckeled sussex, slw,golden laced wyandotte, silver cuckoo marans, black double laced silver barnvelder, welsummer and a single buff laced polish.

The barnvelder are from local breeder stock the rest are from my pet chicken.

Anything in particular anyone think i should know about the crosses that ill be hatching? Maybe a do's and don'ts type of response and general experience from seasoned pros.

Just getting started myself. I have a small batch in new incubator. Wish I could help you out but will be interested to hear what others might say. I have rir, white leghorn, barred rocks, and silver-laced Wyandotte, so I will have surprise mixes as I have roos and hens of all those breeds and they are free range. Good luck with yours!

Heres the new batch of eggs headed for inc. Friday. Selected for color and size. Its an extra large size costco container. Been tipping side to side on the counter twice daily. Only 21 qualifiers so far. Clean largest best shape plus a white from the buffed polish that has mediocre shape. Rooster appears to doing work see faint bullseye in each yolk leading up in recent weeks. Using a rite farm products #2400 with auto turn. Wish me luck! Totally stoked my daughter [7] pretty intereted too!

All seems well added about one cup of water so far humidity being held between 50 and 65 larger swing than I'd prefer by about 5%
