I'm new to most of this as I tend to just peruse. I have had chickens off and on since childhood and ever since we moved back to Washington. I currently have multiple breeds of chickens. Easter eggers; olive eggers; barnyard mix; crested funny chickens/hens (color pak); bantams (Serama) and all kinds of australorpes. Just a general mix over the years. We have royal palm turkeys and a ton of Muscovy ducks along with several/many call ducks and even 24 or so Coturnix quail. And we just inherited 4 very large New Zealand White bunnies. I just wanted the cages and well now we have four bunnies and a lot more work on our hands (mainly my husbands who spent the next 3 weeks reworking each of the three rabbit hutches to make them better and added very large bunny boxes on the outsides). They turned out amazing and even with the 3 week wait for the wire I wanted for the bottom due to the Covid 19 shipping slowdown they are now completed and he is now working to finish up the one for my quail (I wanted the cages for originally). Who knew they would come with bunnies...lol. Oh two goats we also inherited and two cats. Thankfully we are now both retired. The animals keep us very busy. I've posted pictures of our pen. My husband has expanded it about 5 times and we are currently working to separate the chickens from the ducks so I can just let the ducks out in the yard so the destroyers of all things can hang out in the pen. There's hot wires around the entire pen on the top and back side on the bottom. Wires run across the top for birds of prey. My smarter ducks fly in and out at free will but most await us letting them out and they are all in at night for safety.
