Dragon saddles and bridles sat around the room. on the floor, on boxes, on shelves, and on pegs in the wall. there were also several grooming boxes scattered around. Ark scanned the room. "look for the tack set that says 'Ember' on it" ark instructed. astral, who'd followed, helped to search.

(also, for those who don't know, if you need an idea as to the size of the barn doors, think of the doors at the giant's house from the tale of jack and the beanstalk. that's why they did so much damage to ark when they fell on her. in fact, she is lucky to be alive at all, but that is tbr.)

"that's the one!" ark smiled happily. she got out a rag to clean the tack. it hadn't been used for a while, and it was pretty dusty.

Kathryn looked at the tack as Ark cleaned it"Does he not get ridden often?"She asked seeing all the dust on it.

"he doesn't have an owner, and most of the school's unowned dragons are rarely ridden" she said, looking at the dust that covered the majority of the tack in the room. "it's quite a shame. some of the best dragons are the un-ridden ones."
