Color and gender?

This kid confuses me. The mom is the same weird tan color and the dad was a chocolate. This chick is 5 months and im leaning towards pullet but im really confused by the color

I think it is a pullet. Males of that age should show much larger combs.

The color is beautiful. Maybe fawn or khaki? I'm not really sure, but I would post about it in this forum if you don't get good answers here. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/exhibition-genetics-breeding-to-the-sop.16188/

I like the color a lot and I agree with Jed that it is a pullet! If someone tells you the color I would love to know!

Wow, I don't think I've seen a color quite like this before. My best guess would be mauve (chocolate on blue). Maybe just a lighter colored mauve? Couldn't be chocolate splash either, because dad is a normal chocolate. Another thought I had was maybe she's dominant white with chocolate leakage making it look tan? Was she always this tan color or did she hatch looking more white?

Other than that, I really don't know what else she could be, as I don’t have any experience with fawn, khaki, and similar colors.
You wouldn't happen to know the parents of her mother, would you? Maybe that would point us in the right direction. Did the chick have any siblings from the same parents?
I'm not an expert though, so if anyone knows more on this please do share.
