I was able to get some "better" pics using DH's camera this evening of my polish hen/roo. DH thinks hen. I think roo.
13 weeks old. Hatch mate polish has been making noise for at least 6 weeks
Seems s/he is loosing some tail feathers.

his currently sad tail...some of them seem to have flopped down leading me to think roo.
those feathers aren't really pointed. They are black laced I guess - they are rounded, but the color pattern in them is pointed.

and the the confirmed (for the last 6 weeks) roo, what color would he be called? He's got lots of brown in his back. He was born blue with a white strip through his hair do.
