Color combinations Orpingtons.

I would like to know how to determine the colours of the chicks.

If you have a blue Orpington / lavender Orpington and you put it with more blues that split for lavender. What percentage of the chicks will be lavender?

Is there some general rule?

That's really a question for Orpington breeders. You could put that in the search engine and see what comes up.
