Color Genetics Question

If a blue chicken bred with a chicken that has no definite color or is not blue, black or splash, would some of the F1s carry one blue gene, and some of the F2s be blue, black, or splash? Please tell me if I need to clarify my question. Thank you.

Yes, if the blue is bred to a bird that has no blue gene, half the offspring will be blue and if these blues are bred together you will get blue, black, splash.

So if a blue chicken was bred to a chicken that is not blue (lavender, buff, etc), breeding the offspring together would produce some blue black or splash chicks?
