I'm gonna be met with a bunch of funny looks talking about my "grey bird" as we lovingly nicknamed him, as he decided to no longer be grey lol as you can see in the chick photos he was very grey as a chick and had matured into all of this pretty reddish color, most red on chest among the tuxedo, reddish on neck/head, greyer the further back to tail you get. Any ideas or will he need to breed before we know more than EB + tux? The photos are all under normal natural light no lamps or lightbulbs. Hopefully you can see the other attached photos!

Scarlet tuxedo (eb with roux with white (dotted/English white or pied white wing)). May also carry fee, looks a bit faded red/pinkish in spots.
Thank you! While worried about not being able to feather sex babies, I am so excited-anxious to see what kind of babies he'd make, I think they'll all be stunning! Also hoping for many tuxedos <3

I just went out to care for the babes this morning, talked with the family about setting some eggs (my old girl stopped laying this week, worried she might be at her end of egg laying at almost 2 years old) and they were okay with it so might set some tonight.

No eggs in with the 3 babies but I did notice my for sure cockbird was being spicy, making some super fun noises (not crowing, probably just telling the ladies there's food) but he's been very meek and mild so his testosterone must be kicking in 🤣 but I vent checked him & there was foam so I decided to check my lovely ""grey"" bird here and no foam! I was watching them and grey & the pearl (Feeobe) and they are much more round and I guess 'girl shaped' than my roux boy (Rouxster) so I'll check again in a week and keep watching for eggs but I might be very lucky and have 3 hens 1 cockbird!! :D
