Color identification

Thought I’d share an update on the crew. There are some beautiful colors in the mix. They are free ranging all day and cooping up easily for me every evening. I think seeing the chickens going through the routine helped them because it only took three days to get them used to it. View attachment 3322298
Colorful crew! That should help you tell them apart! :gigDid you figure out the colors on the two that you had circled above?
 
I believe these are the two that were circled. Hard to see in the picture, but there is some lavender on the neck of the lighter one.

They look like a slate and a royal purple. I’m attaching pics of my adult slate, imaginatively name Slate, aka Starla, and my RP Welch who is good at caring for keets. Welch is sun faded here, with the bleaching producing some lighter coloring around her back and neck that turns nearly black as she gets her new feathers in.
