*these are not my hens*
I ordered eggs Atlchick and she said she didn't know what the coloring of the black one was, so I was wondering what to call it. I'm hoping I get lots of them. They are so pretty!!

I don't think it's a "color".

If it was a horse, my dad would call it SMD---"poop" muckeldy dun.

The cool thing about EEs is that because there are no "standard" colors, you can call them whatever you want.

Not any specified color pattern. That mostly black one though is amazing! I would take a whole flock of that color!
I hatced 3 out of my Dark Cornish hens and an EE roo last year, and the cockerel I got looked just like his dad but with yellow legs and no muff. The two girls have the exact pattern of the Cornish hens but with green legs and muffs under their "chins". You can get all kinds of colors with EEs because they are mutts. And sometimes mutts make the best ones.

Only pure Ameraucanas have real "colors". Those, being mutts, are differently patterned anyway, really. Some people call mine orange.

I have one that is this cool beige and bluish gray, it reminds me of a pigeon. Want to guess what her name is? And I think she is laying me some beautiful BLUE eggs!

As everyone else said. With EE's not being a breed like Ameraucanas are, they just have mixed colors.

But to be technical and help out, the one on the left top is a gold duckwing/BBR with blue genes. The one on the top right is a gold duckwing/BBR with columbian genes. The black looking one is a silver duckwing with something else I've yet to figure out as I myself have a golden version of that color on an Araucana.
