COLOR OF EGG / feed

will the color of the eggs very do to the feed that they are given to eat and by the bread do to the feed . I have 10 chickens that are laying 5 black sex links 5 white leghorns the sex links are giving brown shades of eggs and if the leghorns are laying they should be laying white eggs but I get brown to almost a off white pink eggs . can any one answer this for me

Eggshell color is determined by genetics. Your Leghorns might not be Leghorns...

I have 5 sister sex-links and two have started laying and they lay different shades. I now have 6 eggs 3 of each shade. GC

My leghorn has never laid any color other than white and I've switched her feed up on her many times.
