Color question (silver laced)

I was wondering if someone knows what color this rooster is in? He was more white but is getting more black in him, my mom says he be silver laced but I don’t see that but I could be wrong.if he be silver laced shouldn’t he be black with white spots on him?
Anyway I am also wondering, I have 2 silver laced hens (unrelated to him), if he’s not silver laced and I would keep this rooster, could he make silver laced chicks with my 2 silver laced hens? Or would I have to find a silver laced rooster for that?

He looks mixed breed and mixed color. It's hard to say if he would throw laced birds, probably not correctly marked ones if he did. You won't know until you try.

Of course I'm no expert on genetics.

Looks like my WLW (white lace) don’t know if white is the same as silver. He’s going to be beautiful!!! I hope he’s sweet. Give me a sweet chicken any day. He would make beautiful babies with my hen!
