Well, it looked like pied to me. Being a newby and all.

At least it contains the pied gene, so i was half right.

Is it the same as a pied in other breeds?

The English White is the correct name. It has a dot on the head usually, sometimes on the back or wings. The Splash name is given to the button quail.

So it is called a splash in buttons and an English White in coturnix. Is it basically the same just with a different name? I'm confused.​
