Good morning! According the the link below, a black-legged rooster crossed with a light-colored-legged hen will produce: a pullet if the chick's legs are black and vice versa. My question is this: I have a chick with black legs that is a cross between my white Silkie rooster and gold-laced Polish hen. I don't know if the Polish light-slate colored legs would qualify as light colored. Do I have a hen? She did inherit the five toes and feathered legs from her daddy along with her black legs, but I don't know if that makes a difference. And she was fully feathered at about 3 weeks old (she's 4 weeks now).
