Hello I am in Boulder CO. I have a flock of 6 chickens: 1 RI red, 1 buff Orpington, 2 barred rock, 1 silver laced Wyandotte and 1 silver speckled Hamburg. They have been great fun and are laying well. We have added two Americauna chicks that are currently 6 weeks old although we just lost 1 (see my other post). Very sad this is the first chicken we have lost.

Hi! We got our chicks as 2 or 3 day olds at Jax in Lafayette, last year and this year.

I buy my feed at jax. I windowshop the chick aisle and it seems like they never had much of a selection this year. Correct your nomenclature for the americauna. She's an EE. Have you integrated her into the flock? I would want a same age mate. Head over to the CO thread. There might still be some older chicks available. Some were heading over to the various bird swaps. Cochick has some about that age. She's in NBoulder.

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Sounds like you have a lovely flock! I have some buff orpingtons too. I just love this breed!
