Colorado newbie

I have 4 chickens. 2 black stars and 2 BO. They are amazing and super fun. They will be 20 weeks old this Sunday. I was wondering if chicks born in winter lay sooner because they get the most sunlight at the right age. I let them roam the yard and just want to see if I should start looking for eggs. My BS really make a lot of noise in the mornings!
