Hi Coloradans! My American Buff goose needs a friend or a mate. Is anyone looking to sell/rehome a young adult American buff Gander? Or any breed of female goose?

Hi everybody we have some 3 week old chicks. When can we take them outside? Any answers would be appreciated
If I wanted to put them out right now while it is warm and bring them in and put back in brooder is that ok?I wouldn't put them out overnight until they are fully feathered on their bodies. There are still some very cold temps coming up, especially at night. Maybe at 2 months and in a group to help warm each other.
This is exactly what i do until they are fully feathered. They should be ok. Try and give them a wind break so they can stay warm.If I wanted to put them out right now while it is warm and bring them in and put back in brooder is that ok?
I have two Faverolles in my mixed flock. It was a challenge getting the RIRs to accept them (or any of the younger girls). I ended up separating the RIRs until the others started laying, then moved the RIRs into the setup (established by the newcomers). Everything is quiet and they all get along very well.Pozee, if you end up with several Favorolles, I'd love to know your assessment of them. They are the absolute cutest as chicks ever. I love them, but I found that they don't do well in a mixed flock. I got 3 hatchery chicks a few years back and they are so laid back that they were tormented with the flock. Mine 3 ended up living in with my bantam flock because they were so picked on. I also found them to be horrible layers, but very pretty birds.
