Colorado

Have to agree- first we're getting 5 inches, then a blizzard, now maybe it's too far south to give us much of anything. Just have food, blankets, and no major plans. We'll play it by dawn's early light on Friday

got myself a real red sunburn on Sunday from being out and gardening all day...today, were under a layer of snow!!!

I help a friend's mom move on Sunday. I was a little red on my arms, legs and face. Freezing your butt off with a sun burn is something that only people from Colorado can truly appreciate

Going grocery shopping after work so if we do get socked tomorrow, I am set.

We're hoping the forecast is wrong and we get 3 feet of snow! We need the moisture so bad we'd enjoy wading out to the barn and chicken coop.

It's headed your way.

It is coming down like crazy in Fountain. The North end of the Springs is worse.
I have a friend who lives in Crystal Park by Manitou Springs. I wonder if she will even be able to get home from work?!?!

Serves her right for living on the side of a freaking mountain!!

Yep- now it's here. Blowing crazy too. First it blows to the right.... then to the left.... hope my husband will get home from work. They were suppose to have a late meeting at 5pm.

UPDATE: I cannot believe how spoiled my birds are. I actually went out in this yuck to check on them. They looked annoyed that I had woken them up. But! I did discover a cold wind leak that I promptly staple-gunned an empty feed bag over. Plus checked to make sure the oil heater was working well (they also have a 100w heat lamp). Water still clean and not frozen.... dinner plate cleaned. Good night guys! I'll check to make sure you're around tomorrow morning!

Ha- and to think they were out in the nice warm morning air today.
