Hey all! Glad everyone survived the weather. We were in Vegas (YUCK! no offense to the Vegas folks, just not my cup of tea) for my daughters softball tournament. So we missed all the weather here and the weather out there was actually mild compared to what it usually is at this time of year. So we lucked out in that regard. Lor that pic looks like the one on the front page of the MSN Explorer page where they're talking about the CO weather.
My kids and I stood at our back door and watched the tornado (actually two) for an hour. It sure was huge and we couldn't believe how long it stayed on the ground.
We had two llama crias born that morning. I moved them into the barn with their mommas because the weather looked menacing then. I'm sure glad I did since we got small hail for 1/2 hour with heavy rain and lots of wind.
The chicken house is finished! Now my brother is trying to find chickens to fill it. He is having a hard time finding pullets. Does anybody have any ideas? He lives in Cheyenne Wyoming.
Howdy from the Springs! I'm new and hope to get chickens in the spring or possibly the fall. Building a coop scares me. I built a small bench in shop in HS but that was along time ago, lol.
