I thought chickens were supposed to slow down in the winter! I'm currently getting between 10 and 20 eggs a day! There are 22 dozen eggs in the fridge.

I should be able to sell them all this weekend if things go like they normally do.

Woke up to a black out this morning. Apparently someone on Stetson Hills Blvd drove into a power box. :/ They got it fixed but not before DH about irritated me to death messing with the alarm system. Beep-Beep-Beep! Armed. Stay. Perform Systems Check! Beep! Stupid thing reset to max volume a few months ago and we haven't been able to turn it down. I swear he turned it on and off twenty times trying to make it work.

I'm getting a little under a dozen a day. I reckon I have almost that much. I have an ad on CL but someone keeps flagging it. It's really annoying.

Wonder why someone would do that? Makes no sense... :/ Other egg sellers wouldn't just because everyone seems to be struggling to fill orders right now.

Lol maybe you're the competition. I think there's some craigslist "police"with nothing better to do than sit on their computers flagging posts all day.

that sucks - like Chersterchook says, some people have nothing better to do than flag stuff for no reason.

where are you located? I'm in Highlands Ranch and currently source my eggs from Golden (as I often fly from Boulder), so I'm always looking for closer sources for eggs until I get my coop up and running.

My girl fell into a fermented feed bucket and couldn't get out. I didn't realize she stayed in the basement while taking food to the coop. She is shaking & twitching. She was probably in there for at least 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes at the most assuming she fell in right as I left the basement. Its pretty cold I'm assuming but not sure what else to do. I am drying her off with towels. Any other suggestions?
