What does he do in Aviation?

I am Manager of Quality Control at SkyWest Airlines out of our Colorado Springs maintenance facility.
He was in a sales capacity for a big aviation maintenence software company which was sold, they laid off all the employees, then he got a job as a regional sales manager up in AK for Evergreen Helo, what a nightmare. They are closing the base, never relo'd us and left him stranded up there with no home bound ticket & didn't pay him. It's been a hell of a year!
So, sales and management is his forte'. Any help would be appreciated, he's going crazy with no work, and he's driving me there too!

CHICK IN THE BURBS! YAY! COOLIO... doin' the happy chicken dance! :)

It's a place called Larkspur Outlet, they advertise on Craigslist, small operation.  Should be getting the kit pretty soon, I told him I wanted to have it up by the end of January, he is supposed to be calling me with the schedule.

I'd be careful with their "kits". The guy that runs that place is a nice guy but you should be aware of what your getting. He specializes in buying "cull" wood from the major lumber yards. Cull lumber is what's left after everyone has picked through the lumber pile. It's usually twisted and warped. I'm not saying you can't build with it but its much more difficult then with quality lumber. Not calling him a cheat but I think he should be upfront with telling people this. I have read many a rant about him on Craigslist from unhappy customers. I have purchased some items from him before and you can get pretty good deals from him. Though I have never bought lumber from him, I looked at it and passed. I am a contractor so I may be partial to quality wood as I use it everyday. But good luck with your kit, hopefully it's decent!

Did some work on my coop today. Installed the osb and the window.... Just waiting on a few more free 2x6 and a few more sheets of osb and I can finish it up. Up to this point the only money I have spent on this coop is on nails for my nail gun lol.

Thank
Adam- Nice work! That coop is looking great!

What color are you thinking of painting it when you are done?

Thanks!

I'm going to paint it with what ever leftover paint I have. I have a few gallons of red, green, white, brown.

I might go old fashioned and paint it red and white. I also have an idea of recycling some old fence pickets that ill use like lap siding and if I do that I'll just use a natural stain.
