Colorado

Thanks for the update. I actually hope they hold off a couple of weeks or so now. My mother had a stroke last Saturday and will be going into a nursing home for a while on Monday. So I running in 5 million directions right now. Are you still thinking of placing another Urch order later or not?

I know how that feels and my advice to you is just keep breathing, do your best to prioritize and don't stress over the stuff you can't get done. Take time for yourself once a day (even 5 minutes) and just regroup. Hugs again.

Anyone have recommendations for timers for coop lights?[/quote
Is this for a light in the coop or a heat lamp. A light at this point really isnt necessary as the days are getting longer.
If heat is the issue and you plug is inside then just about any timer would work. For added heat in my coop. I use a panel heater on a thermocube to turn it on. It comes on when it reaches 34 degrees, i think and off again at 44.

Hello Colorado Peeps, Happy Easter Eve. I have a question for you. Does anyone in this group have any Maran chicks or fertile eggs for sale? A girlfriend of mine wanted some with an order I'm getting but the hatchery is out of Marans. And my friend is not ordering 25 so she doesn't want to go to another hatchery. I thought I would check with all of you.
Cheers

If they come in before you're ready I'll just hang onto them until you are. I will be brooding chicks anyway, a few more isn't going to be a problem.

I am still thinking of one more order, yes, I guess when I call to ask when this order will be shipped I can find out when he stops shipping - seems like it's in May.
