[Percheron chick]

Been an odd year for chicks and pullets. I have struggled to sell 20 pullets this year. Normally, I'll have moved 100 by now. I'm just going to keep the last 5. They are cranking out the eggs.
If anyone in the front range needs chicks, FS has a bunch of older 4-7 week old chicks and Murdoch in Littleton had a buy one get 2 free. Crazy. Last year chicks were impossible to find.

What is FS stand for? I’m looking for silkies but I’ve only seen white or black and those I have.

Feeders Supply certainly has a HUGE assortment this week and yes many many many in the 4-7 week range.
Terrible shame that I am full up on birds.

Got most of the garden in today. Just waiting for warmer nights for the tomatoes, peppers and melons.

I am holding off on 99% of my garden planting for another week or two as well.

I would hate to plant my beautiful seedlings just to have them die quickly. They ARE at least being hardened off in the greenhouse.

Gardening doesn't start until June up here, at least outside the greenhouse.
