We don't have and HOA, but there were some who signed covenants. HOWEVER, no covenants were filed with any of the sales, so only county ordinances apply here. as long as we are a "hobby farm" we can have livestock. Per El Paso county, chickens are livestock.

I put a very nice black bantam cochin cockerel to auction https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=496249
If
someone local is interested in him, you can save on the shipping! He was part of a pair....I just don't need a black roo, rather I kept the hen. He'll be at the Brighton swap May 8 unless sold prior.

Locally, I have a couple layer hens if someone is interested--a light colored Ameracauna $10 & a Splash Copper Marans $15. Both are a year old this spring, though Marans is slightly younger. Ameracauna lays a big blue/green egg & the Marans a medium dark brown egg. Best to email me if interested.

The show was very nice. Bit of cold weather but just needed a good jacket. Big rabbit show next door. Only 3-4 of us with cochins entered & a good white won. Enjoyed watching my niece in the showmanship but BOY! did she ever want to take home a rabbit!!!
The CPA folks do alot of work to put on a show!
