Just recvd my summons to appear in court for my too many chickens charge

I've got 17 ranging from 4 weeks to 6 girls that are 1.5 yrs. My neighbors on each side love the girls and eat the eggs. They didn't even know we had them until they came over an saw them in the yard after we moved here. But there is a city of Arvada employee that lives down the street that turns everyone in. I got the babies this spring with the knowledge that we'd be moving very soon. I'll go plead guiltyand pay the fine hopefully the fine won't be too steep

Does anyone near Parker have a small coop I can use to quarantine two birds (1 Bantam and 1 LF)? I have to quarantine a couple new birds we are getting. Not sure they have anything, but the gentleman we purchased them from said he had a couple of birds come down with a respiratory something. He didn't think they were infect but thought there was a slim chance there were carriers.

Anyone interested in a couple of BCM roo's? If so let me know. They are almost twelve weeks old and have been crowing for about a week or two.



On another note:

@ ghillie and MyKidLuvsGreenEgz - I think Humphrey and I have come to a truce or at least I think he is figuring out that I am not gonna take no flack from him. Might be a different story if I walked in without the tennis racket! I think he has figured out that somehow he can't get past that racket to get at me and all I do is put it up to block him. Maybe he doesn't like pink!!!
