We're wiling to pay for a small coop or even a rabbit hutch. Just to house a couple birds for a few weeks to quarantine. If anyone has anything lying around we could use, let me know.

My 7 yr old says she wants to have Humphrey Dumplings!! I don't have the heart I don't think. He is so beautiful!! I will continue to work with him and hope that he straightens up!

going by my mom's experiences with her roos, after 2 years old they often will calm down quite a bit, guess I'll just wait and see.

Anybody else get hit with that horrible wind last night? My son and I hid in the basement for a while (played Uno and talked). Goats and their babies were running around terrified. Glad chickens were already up for the night. But .. I'm kinda nervous to go out there this morning, to see what damage there might be!

It was windy here, but not much more than we hav had for months.... The wind hasn't stopped, only gotten less severe at times!

Wind was crazy out here.. Had a hard time rounding up younger chickens into coop, they were very distraught!
A friend called to tell me there was a severe t-storm warning for my area (I dont have tv- don't get weather/news) but all I got was wind.. Not a single rumble!

The only rumbling I heard last night was Ft Carson at about 2:30 AM
