My pullets are laying eggs like that! They are so small and cute. I have 2 or 3 for breakfast.

Margie what breed did you order? There's someone that has a WC Gander for sale in Elbert county. At first I thought OHHH maybe it's a female but nope another boy

Anyone up here in Brighton ever ordered from Ideal? In Arvada they came to the local PO but where would they come to up here?

We (bustermommy and I) ordered red broilers from Strombergs in MN. I was hoping to miss most of the nasty hot and they were having a special deal, best of both worlds. I had thought about CXs but they don't do altitude and we are 8500 feet up in the air, but it is 55 outside right now so I love it. I think I would get a female goose of a different breed unless you are looking for lots of eggs. I guess it depends on what you want to do with them.

Anyone know of someone who does caponizing, I tried doing it myself but just can't do it, I can butcher my culls but caponizing somehow creeps me out.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say I am lurking on your thread

I have been on BYC for years but never had any reason to read the Colorado Thread until now. I have lived in MT my whole life but my DH just accepted a job in your pretty state so we are headed your way soon. Any one here live in Eaton? Or Greeley?

Welcome to CO. Not sure where Conrad is but Greeley/ Eaton is wide open and rolling country for the most part. One of my sons travels up to the OW Ranch in MT. He loves it up there!

We just moved up here to Brighton from Arvada. Brighton is somewhat just SE of Evans/Greeley. So we're not too far. Good luck with the move and congrats!
