sad night. Last night a fast moving hail storm hit us and killed 3 of my 6 week old chicks. I had them in for the 1st round but it came back around and got us again after I let them out to hunt some worms.

Just realized we got a Presto 6-qt aluminum pressure cooker for wedding present 4 years ago and never opened it. BUT it doesn't say it can be used for canning.

What do you think?

Hey peeps.... My chickens are officially on some antibiotics for what I believe is a resp infection. Two of my buffs seem to have it the worst and since only one of my chickens is laying right now, I've decided now is the time I should work to get them better so I don't waste more eggs in the future. I'm also feeding them a ton of food and water, the water is spiked with vitamins and apple cider vinegar and I'm using poultry rx to help their breathing etc. Lastly, they're getting lots of great food out of the garden.


Anyway, the reason for my post is, I need eggs! I live in Parker and am willing to go to someone in my immediate area so if you have a dozen you can spare, let me know and I'll buy them at the going rate! Please private message me so I will get an email notification. Thanks!

Hey guys I know a woman near Kiowa who has an Americauna (hope I spelled that right) rooster. I believe he was batched this year and she doesn't want to keep a rooster so if anyone is interested, pm me and I'll get in touch with her.
