As of the 5pm news that fire was 0 percent contained and growing. Very scary.

We went to some friend's house at Horse Shoe. I could not believe the amount of smoke from the fire.

This from the I-25 and Johnstown Exit.

While we were out on the lake I saw a slurry bomber head into the smoke, not able to get any clear photos. I was taking photos from probably 10 miles away...maybe more.

I did get a few photos of a heliocopter as it was returning from dumping its load. The top photos are of the copter over the fire area.





In these photos the copter is heading very quickly over Horse Shoe, headed back east to refill.

We were on the lake after dark and you could really see the fire line as it broke the ridge...amazing.

I know...my dad has one. It is an awesome work bench.

The coop is looking great...but I saw that bench in the background and I just ahd to comment on it...very cool.
