The news says that our high was 101 degrees, but the remote thermometer on my atomic clock got as high as 104 degrees today. Triple digits....hot is hot.

Same one but they think they will keep it to 20 acres.

They've started pulling firefighters from the High Park fire to fight the Waldo Canyon fire...I hope they get it under control before it reaches populated areas.

My wife is busy making maps for the emergency services. She just called me and told me at 6:00 pm the Waldo fire is being recategorized as a "Level 1 fire" and the feds are taking over.

Rain! I just got my chickens in and when I came back out it was raining....they may be ****** with me but I know they would not have enjoyed this weather. I hope it hits those of you in the fire zones.

I am looking in to home remedies people have found that help chickens regulate there temperature during hot weather. Any one have any ideas?
