Colored Egg Layers, help choosing!

Cute, fuzzy chicks are mighty hard to resist, and chicken math is powerful, so what could you do? Got some real cuties there! Let us know how it all goes. Congrats on the new additions (eggs aren't nearly as much fun to cuddle!)
Yeah, they’re all so pretty! She had some HUGE roosters. And her Langshans are amazing. I have missed chick cuddles! And now I have so many 😬😬 thank you for all the advice 😍

I WANT THEM!!!! Omg how adorable! I’m so glad you got a ton of different varieties! Please post pics as they grow (weekly if possible lol!)
Haha I know…how could I turn down a DEAL and all that gorgeous fluff?? They’re so precious! I will have 8 million pictures, so I will keep sharing! 🐥🐣🐥

I put weeks of research into my objectives which were same as yours: Rainbow of eggs; NICE breeds and also Different colored chickens so I can tell them apart easily. I have accomplished this! I have: Orpingtons/Pink; Creme Legbar/Blue; Easter Egger/Blue and Green (these were sold to me as Ameraucana's, they're not ) Welsummer/speckled dark brown (I will say she is not mean but she is top lady ) Black Copper Maran's/Very Dark Brown; Blue Laced Barnevelder/Dark Brown; Olive Egger/Olive; Silver Laced Wyandotte/Pink.

I mean what else was I going to do all winter beside plan for this! Have Fun!!

I forgot about this thread!! So I will update it just for documentation purposes (and showing off my beautiful babies!) 😁

In order of picture -
Aria Jr. was a splash Marans (she passed from a terrible prolapsed vent 😢)
Ms Frizzle is a frizzle blue copper Marans and lays dark brown with speckles
Mumble is a black copper Marans
Coco is a mauve splash Orpington that lays pink 😍

Yes! It’s so fun to have stuff to plan regarding the perfect eggs hehe! I also have a GLW that lays a light pink egg! And I planned on having blue layers but they are both boys 😆 So this year I added two guaranteed Ameraucana pullets and my ladies from last year have babies hatching as we speak that will be EEs and OEs! So I have pink, chocolate, chocolate speckled, blue, green and olive (eventually 😁)

New lavender baby is Ameraucana/English Orpington
Splash Ameraucana
Blue Ameraucana

OMG so cute!! I was so chicken dumb 20years ago.... My first flock was 5 RIR's. My kids couldn't name them because they looked the same! Great layers but a few were mean. So I named them Crazy, Weirdo, Chicken, Fast Chicken, Red Chicken.
